Dr.Najibullah born 1947, Gardiz, Afghanistandied September 27, 1996, Kabul
Dr.Najibullah was the fourth President of Afghanistan during the period of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.
september 27 1996 Taliban militiamen burst into the compound and dragged Najibullah to the presidential palace, where he was beaten and shot. His mutilated body, together with that of his brother, was then hung on street lamp posts outside the palace.
Dr.Najibullah said:-
“For each of us, the physical survival is non of our concerns, let it be for any cost. For us, the survival in history, in virtue, in the gloss of thoughts and in fulfilling our national and international promises that we have made to the people of our country and the world, matters and will be of our concerns”
